What ever you are planning, first of all you must have a food scale to get control over calories you are eating.
If you are well aware of what you are eating then it is much better for you. I personally always keep an eye on the nutrition of my food and it is really helpful also.

Diet is good thing for fitness. In diet we should eat simple food like raw food,low calorie food,vegetables and fruits. Organic fat burning food is also best to add in diet.
