yes not an actual decline press. but only a very slight decline so you get some more activation out of your pectoral area and a little less shoulder strain.
main reason i wen't to a slight decline was because my shoulder likes to "pop" when i do flat bench and after rotator cuff surgery it makes me weary when it pops when i do things. then i noticed i get a much better chest workout when i do the slight decline and my shoulders don't get as worn down by the end of the routine.
