Went back and got more last night.
Today is 420 so I'll be doing a full blown CarbNite today and I'll start things off at 420pm with a bad ass doughnut and some of Cali's finest!!!!
I'll be having dinner in Santa Cruz and then hit downtown SC for some fun times.
Scope75, how do you see CBL on cycle?
Kiefer recommands a ratio 50/50 in quantity for prot and fat but when you're on cycle it seems obvious that prots amount must be highly increased.
In that case do you think fat amount must be increased in the same rate too?

What I do is backload my cals on the days I CBL.
First and only meal before lifting is 900-1k cals .5:1 F:P then after I lift I eat 2k cals 1k from carbs then the rest .5:1.
Now on how much protien you need will depend on what your goals are, and that's how I figure out how much fat and carbs I eat.
I want to be 225 so I'd eat 225P/225C/112F. I usually always go over on the fat but I don't worry about it.
And how do you do when you are not training. Just an ULC day 50/50 prot fat?
I hesitate to eat 1/.5 prot/fat considering the hormonal situation of the protocol. Fat is avoiding insulin spike and without spike fat is used as fuel for the body. And if you eat too much prot without enough fat there's an insulin spike accordibg to Kiefer. Less than with carbs but spike enough to stop the process.
If I eat prot x2 'cause I'm on cycle I should eat fat x2 but to my mind it's really too high in cal/fat...
For my next cycle with CBL I will eat 1/.5 prot/fat and hoping that steroids will allow the body to use at best all prots. Will see

When I'm ULC I just eat and that usually gets me 22-2800 cals. I also backload my ULC cals and eat most post workout or around 7-8pm.
You don't need to be 1:1 to blunt the spike but I'd do 10-14g of CO or Butter with all meals.
Use butter to blunt a spike from a shake if its not post workout or containing carbs.
CO or MCT oil is good in your post workout shake as long as it doesn't have any carbs added.

Oh and why so much protein??
1.3-1.5 grams BW is plenty
It is said everywhere that you must highly increase your amount of protein when you are in cycle.
Not enough prots = bad cycle. Here is what I often read
I will do like you say and just add a bit of butter, coconut oil or bacon each time I eat prots and don't worry about amount required

Scope how's your Backloading coming along these days?
Going good and I've been pretty good about keeping it cleaner.
All backload look like this.
Lots of chicken potatoes and GF banana pancakes.
Been lifting and eating.
Up to 224 but holding onto a bit more fat than I'd like but performance in and out of the gym is fucking great so I'm eating at least potatoes and cereal every night that I lift.
Tonight's meal
Chicken, baked mashed potatoes, and butter
Didn't have these tonight but they will be in most of my after heavy lifting BLs.
Banana cinnamon
Chocolate peanut butter
Baked mashed then fried in coconut oil/cinnamon sweet potato.
